Rumaizi A Halim is a Strategic Planning & Communication Director at Energy Commission since 2017. He has more than 30 years' working experience in oil, gas and energy industry. His key responsibility among others includes aligning the Commission objectives to meet industry needs, taking into consideration the changes in energy landscape and protecting the wellbeing of the people. Prior to joining the Energy Commission, he served PETRONAS for 25 years, holding various positions including Head of Commercial (Third Party Access) and Senior Manager Change Management. He has been involved in gas market liberalization initiatives for Peninsular Malaysia since 2007 and continues the advocacy work on market liberalization until today. He is a member of Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDCorp) Sectoral Training Committee of Oil, Gas & Energy, responsible for outlining & shaping the industry capabilities.
