Robert Bright Mawuko Sogbadji is a policy analyst on Renewable Energy, Nuclear Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Energy Conservation at the Ministry of Energy, Ghana. He is also a senior lecturer at the School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences at the University of Ghana and has been a Principal Research Scientist for the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission since 2012 and 2009, respectively. He currently holds the position of Deputy Director, Power (Nuclear and Alternate Energy), and the Acting Coordinator for the National Energy Transition Programme of the Ministry of Energy. Previously, he co-chaired the committee for drafting the Ghana Energy Policy among other national documents. He facilitated the partnership with development partners to assess and promote industrial energy efficiency in Ghana. Robert is an author of over 30 quality peer-reviewed research publications in various scientific journals and conference papers. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2005), an M.Phil. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Ghana (2008), and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the Université de Paris-Sud XI (2012).
