Abdul Raziq Fahim is the founding director of College of Youth Activism and Development. He is a seasoned civil society leader, but his main qualification lies in his literary genius. As a cultural entrepreneur, Raziq recognizes the critical needs of youth in Pakistan, translating concepts and ideas into long term programs affecting youth. Raziq's approach of working with young people has been widely recognized both in public and civil society spheres. His facilitation around fusing youths' literary and artistic acumen with Paulo Freire's pedagogy helped youths in realizing the potential of art and literature for social change. He has been instrumental in creating strategies for youth for peacebuilding and connecting them with cultural infrastructure at regional and international level networks. He was an Ashoka Fellow for Innovation for Change 2009, a Senior Fellow IDSP-Pakistan in 2008, and a Chevening Fellow in 2007. Raziq has a master's degree in mass communication from the University of Baloshistan, Pakistan, and a post-graduate certificate in religion and governance from the University of Birmingham, UK. Raziq is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
