Rama serves as the deputy director of strategy at Artists at Risk Connection (ARC), where she leads the institution's long-term strategy development to advance artistic freedom on an international scale. Her previous roles include leading Meta's social impact policy programs in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, spearheading the Open Society Foundation's efforts to promote socially engaged arts and strengthen cultural institutions, and rolling out emergency response donor collaboratives. Rama is also an international development and human rights professional specializing in civic engagement, freedom of expression, and cultural development. With extensive experience across multiple roles, she has worked on designing and implementing grassroots programs, developing regional donor strategies, and building coalitions for collective impact. Rama holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University, a Master's degree in Diplomacy from the University of Malta, and a Bachelor's degree in Media and Theatre Arts from Webster University.
