Raha Nejad

Artist, Soloist, and Dancer, Germany
Raha Nejad, a German-born Persian, started dancing at the young age of 5. She discovered her passion for urban dance as well as Latin and jazz funk. After playing the violin and saxophone, she decided at the age of 16 to become a professional dancer and choreographer. Since then, she has been on stage with artists such as Katy Perry, P!nk, Keri Hilson as well as in the opening act of Beyoncé's European tour. Furthermore she worked with Sean Cheesman, the choreographer and dancer of Michael Jackson, for a Canadian TV show. Raha's talent lies in the variety of dance styles that she constantly refines and expands through her participation in European-wide battles and in theater productions like her own piece "PERSIAN HAIR" as a soloist. In cooperation with Christoph Hagel, she choreographed "Carmina Burana und die Zauberflöte" and is going soon with "Beethoven - The Next Level" on Tour. She has been working for the dance studio Flying Steps Academy for several years.
