Rachel Danna is Deputy Managing Editor at Project Syndicate (PS), a global media non-profit that provides expert-authored commentary to more than 500 outlets in 157 countries. In this role, Rachel oversees PS' grant and partnerships portfolio, commissions content, and reports on related outcomes. She designed, implemented, and oversees PS's impact-tracking procedures; developed and leads Project Syndicate's commentary writing and communications trainings; and manages the organization's editorial calendar, relationships with leading contributors, and a number of special series. Rachel regularly lectures on issues related to journalism and the media. Before PS, Rachel worked as a freelance journalist in New York City and served as editor in chief of The New Presence: The Prague Journal of Central European Affairs. She holds a BA in Journalism and Gender Studies from New York University, and a MA in Public Policy from Anglo-American University.
