Rachel Brewster

Rachel Brewster is the Jeffrey and Bettysue Hughes Professor of Law at Duke Law School. Her scholarly research and teaching focus on international economic law and international dispute settlement. She writes on World Trade Organization (WTO) law, anti-corruption law (including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the OECD Anti-Bribery Treaty), and international relations theory. Brewster serves as co-director of Duke’s Center for International and Comparative Law and as co-chair of Duke’s JD-LLM in International And Comparative Law program. Brewster received her BA and JD from the University of Virginia and she received her PhD in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She served as legal counsel in the Office of the United States Trade Representative in 2008.
