Patricia Espinosa Cantellano

For over 40 years, Ambassador Patricia Espinosa has worked successfully in the fields of diplomacy, international relations, and sustainable development. Her experience in national and international forums has enabled her to contribute to numerous projects with regional or global impact, particularly in areas related to sustainability, green growth, multilateralism, environmental protection, gender equity, and human rights. A snapshot of her previous experiences include serving as Founding Partner and CEO onepoint5 Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (Undersecretary General) for 6 years; Ambassador of Mexico to Germany for 4 years; Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Affairs for 6 years; and Ambassador of Mexico to Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and the UN Organizations in Vienna for 4 years. Patricia has also received multiple international awards and decorations, speaks four languages, and loves spending time with her family.
