Pat Olvear brings over 20 years of experience in advertising, media content production, human centered design, and strategy to lead a team of creative individuals who shares his passion for using creative excellence to improve lives. He founded Khanga Rue with the ambition to be the most impactful agency in African. Working with partners like USAID, various UN agencies, JHU CCP, PSI, FHI360 and others he has improved the health outcomes, earnings potential, skills, safety and general wellbeing of millions of people across the continent. Khanga Rue’s work has won numerous awards and has been featured in conferences and industry journals, including Games for Change, Contagious, AdAge, Adweek, Devex, LBBOnline, Africom to name a few. He is a member of the Global SBCC Summit 2026 International Steering Committee.
