Oluwasola Omoju is a Senior Research Fellow at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, where he provides research and policy support to the Nigerian parliament. He has experience working on applied development issues, specializing on energy and climate change, trade policy, and public financial management. He has led several high-profile projects focusing on energy, climate policy and green transition. His research assessed the economy-wide impact of the Nigerian National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Policy. More recently, he was part of the African Climate Foundation-London School of Economics team that analyses the economic impacts of the EU CBAM on Africa. His current research interests lie in the intersection of climate policy/green transition and Africa's trade policy. Oluwasola holds a doctorate degree in Applied (Energy) Economics from Xiamen University, China.
