Nurainee Jangoe is a data analyst and research assistant at the Deep South Watch, which is an organization focused on peace and conflict in the deep south of Thailand. She is responsible for analyzing the data, initiating workshops and activities that encourage women in the community to be more proactive and supportive, and running leadership programs with a focus on orphans and women affected by violent insurgents. Having worked previously for the Asia Foundation, Center for Conflict Studies and Cultural Diversity Prince of Songkla University, and Pattani Community College. She holds a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Thammasat University, Bangkok and a master's degree in research methodology from Prince of Songkla University, Pattani. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in the data science program at Prince of Songkla University. Her thesis title is Estimating Economics Loss Due to Conflict in the Deep South of Thailand.
