Nishant Shah is Professor (Associate) and Director of Global Communications, and the founder of the Digital Narratives Studio at the School of Journalism and Communications, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Faculty Associate at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society, Harvard University, and knowledge partner with Oxfam (The Netherlands), Point of View (India), and the Digital Asia Hub (Hong Kong). His last two books examining feminist formulations of fakeness (Really Fake, 2020, University of Minnesota Press) and the making of contemporary challenges of Internet informationality (Overload, Excess, Creep: An Internet from India, 2021, Leftword Books) are both available for free and open access.
