Nishandeny Ratnam is an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, admitted to the Bar in December 2011. Her professional expertise spans access to justice, reconciliation, good governance, rule of law reforms, human rights, anti-corruption, legal aid, sexual and gender-based rights, conflict transformation, and transitional justice. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Colombo and a Master's degree in Law (LL.M) from Ohio Northern University, where she received the Excellence for the Future Award in Comparative Constitutional Law in 2015. Additionally, she earned a Master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the University of Sydney and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies. Her career reflects a strong commitment to advancing justice, human rights, and democratic governance.
