Nisha Shah-Sanghvi is the founder, senior visual design director, and digital media development expert and creative director of Khanga Rue in Tanzania. Trained in graphic design at Savannah College of Art and Design, she began her career in U.S. advertising before moving to East Africa to join Scangroup (now part of WPP). At Khanga Rue, Nisha blends storytelling with digital innovation, leading the creation of impactful tools like the first Swahili family planning app for girls (PSI), the youth edutainment channel Noa Ubongo (USAID), and the Smart Store app for entrepreneurs (Technoserve). A Human-Centered Design expert, she was named a 2024 Clio Global Health Innovator and Africacom 2022 East African Innovator of the Year.
