Nilushika Sandamali Katukoliya Gamage is currently serving as the Senior Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Education. Nilushika previously served as the additional Provincial Educational Director for the Southern Province and the Deputy Director of the Department of Health, focusing on education policy, curriculum development, and health equity. Actively engaged in non-profit work, she advises the International Foundation for Digital Child and serves on the boards of organizations promoting critical thinking, media literacy, and peace education. Known for her analytical prowess and leadership, Nilushika is a crucial figure in advancing education, social justice, and human rights in Sri Lanka. She has a background in law and a master's in public administration.
