Nicole is an educator by vocation and training. She has worked with children, adolescents, university students and adults in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia. For 20 years, she has taught in all sorts of classrooms- in schoolrooms, forests, boats, gyms, beaches and neighborhoods. As a researcher and consultant in education, her interests focus on the affective aspects of learning, especially emotions and motivation. She loves people, dogs, food, adventures and children. She is currently the Director of Education and Programs at Coschool, a Colombian B Corporation dedicated to innovation in education and socio-emotional learning in Latin America (www.coschool.co) and Acumen Fellow.
