Mirela Baciak

Mirela Baciak is curator-director of Salzburger Kunstverein, in Salzburg, where she develops long-term exhibition programs and institutional frameworks. She conceives of curating as a choreographic and relational practice: a way of composing spatial, temporal, and conceptual constellations that connect bodies, objects, spaces, and ideas, while treating distance as a relative condition. She is committed to facilitating ambitious artistic practices that shape contemporary discourse and to creating sustained access to art and its debates for a broad and heterogeneous public.
