Miloš Ivkovic is an international arbitrator and advisor in international law. He focuses his practice on serving as external legal advisor to governments, state-owned entities, and international business leaders on the subjects of public international law, amendments to national legislation and diplomatic disputes. He has been regularly and personally tasked with preparing peaceful strategies aimed at advancing international cooperation and the rule of law as well as supporting diverse social responsibility initiatives, providing pro bono representation in international human trafficking cases. Miloš has furthermore strong experience conducting international arbitrations in a wide range of industries, including mining, oil and gas, banking and finance, patent infringement, tourism, etc. His expertise includes advising host states and international investors engaged in investor-state arbitral proceedings (e.g. under bilateral investment treaties). After becoming a part of academia at Washington University, Miloš has regularly been engaged as a scholar at various universities around the world. His academic fields of expertise are public international law, international dispute resolution and comparative civil procedure.
