Michaela has been teaching English and German at BG Zaunergasse and Salzburg International School (SALIS) since 2021, covering both the Austrian Matura and IB Diploma curriculums. Originally from Germany, she graduated from the University of Halle (Saale) in 2014 and completed her PhD in English Literary Studies at the University of Vechta in 2018. From 2014 to 2019, Michaela worked as a research assistant and taught English Literature at the University of Vechta and the University of Leipzig. Michaela has published a monograph and several articles with publishers like Routledge and de Gruyter. Her interests include languages, literature, and creative writing, which she integrates into her teaching and research to create an innovative learning environment.
