Michael Chiunda is a program lead at Chalk Back, an organization committed to ending gender-based street harassment with public chalk art, digital media, and education. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing programming at Chalk Back through program design, facilitation of workshops and training, resource development, and fundraising. In the past, he worked as an art group lead at RFSL Stockholm, implementing programs for LGBTQI immigrants and refugees. In 2021 and 2022, he was a speaker on gender and education issues at the United Nations Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth and UNESCO, respectively. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in public administration from the University of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe.
