Maryna Mykhaylenko is a Ukrainian cultural manager and a chief operating officer at Cultural Platform Zakarpattia where she works with communities using culture as a tool for resilience, dignity, and civic connection. Maryna’s work centers on creating ecosystems where young people can express themselves, process collective trauma, and reclaim agency through creative practice and the rethinking of national identity. She co-leads a network of 20 audiovisual studios supporting youth-led voice amplification across Ukraine and collaborates with international partners on rights-based cultural approaches. Grounded in cross-sector partnerships with public institutions, international agencies, and creative industries, Maryna is driven by connecting people, ideas, and cultural systems to imagine more just and resilient futures. Over the past six years, she has helped grow the organization from a small regional initiative into a national network, reaching more than 60 communities, many affected by war and displacement.
