Mark Conway is Program Officer for climate change at the Stanley Center for Peace and Security, where he supports the climate team's work to limit global temperature increases to 1.5 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels. In addition to advocating for specific policy action, Conway promotes collective action on international climate policy by connecting organizations, governments, and other stakeholders and decisionmakers. Before joining the Stanley Center, Conway was a fellow at the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an international support associate at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. While at the Stanley Center, Conway has continued his education and training in the field, receiving certifications in climate change diplomacy and the specialized module for human health and climate change from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Conway has a B.A. in English and American literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.A. in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
