Marina Diez Rituerto is Deputy Director at the National Office of Foresight and Strategy of the Spanish Government, a role she assumed in February 2025 having joined the office as Senior Policy Economist in October 2024. She brings expertise in environmental and climate policy, developed through prior work as an economist at Ricardo Energy and Environment in Madrid and as a research analyst at Trilateral Research in London. A PhD candidate in Applied Economics at the University of the Basque Country, her research spans labour economics, gender economics, and behavioural economics. She holds an MSc in Economics: Growth and Sustainability from Tilburg University and a BA in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
