Project Officer
Marian Ticzon is a gender and development practitioner who is keen at working with non-profit women and children's organizations since 2016. She currently works in ASMAE - Soeur Emmanuelle Philippines, Inc. as project officer of the PEACE project or Promoting Child Rights of Internally Displaced Sama Bajau Ethnic Group. Prior to her involvement with Asmae Philippines she worked with a rural women's coalition as the project officer for women's rights and leadership in emergencies projects, and with Save the Children Philippines, also as project officer for child protection in the project entitled Resilient Inclusive and Safe Education (RISE) for Children. In 2016, Marian earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies with a major track in development studies, minor in gender studies in Miriam College, Quezon City, and is currently studying for a Master's Degree in community development at the University of the Philippines - Diliman, Quezon City.
