Maria Andrea Joshua Riño is the co-founder of iLinang Philippines, a youth-led platform promoting governance education and policy participation. Currently, she is also serving as the operations associate at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team Asia–Pacific and works on regional collaborations on climate resilience and participatory mapping. Maria Andrea is a development professional and youth leader with eight years of experience advancing civic engagement, climate resilience, and good governance across the Asia–Pacific. She has worked with governments, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and multilateral partners to design and implement inclusive, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Maria Andrea previously directed governance and anti-corruption programs at Partnership for Transparency Asia and has facilitated civic learning and coalition-building efforts across the globe. She has represented the Philippines in numerous international conferences and fellowships, including the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), Asia Young Leaders Alliance (AYLA), Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program, Communities of Nations and Nations of Communities (CNNC), and more recently, JENESYS 3.0. Maria Andrea is a graduate with a bachelor's in political science and is currently taking up a master's in ASEAN studies at the University of the Philippines Open University, in Los Baños.
