Manuel Huitrón is a co-founder of the PensionTech startup "Nuovalo" and a recognized expert in pensions, actively involved in issues related to global aging, pensions, and the future dynamics of work projects and platforms. He boasts experience with renowned institutions like the Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, and APG (Netherlands). He has offered advisory/consulting services on pension reforms across 20 countries throughout his career. Between 2017 and 2020, Manuel was a technical advisor to the Latin American and Caribbean Pension Network. He is a member of the International Academic Council of the Mercer-CFA Global Pension Index, the SeLFIES for Retirement Security Group, and the Future of Work & Data Science - The 100 Questions Initiative spearheaded by NYU, Schmidt Futures, and Bertelsmann Foundation, among others. As an author, one of his recent publications is "Advancing Towards Sustainable Pension Systems for Longer-Lived Societies." His academic studies were completed at ITAM, Yale, and Tilburg University.
