Manjyot Ahluwalia is the Regional Lead for Asia at the Global Methane Hub. She is a climate policy professional with extensive experience in international climate policy, multi-stakeholder coalition building, and corporate sector engagement. Growing up in the City of Lakes, Bhopal, that endured the gas tragedy in the 80's, Manjyot became interested in solving global environmental and climate problems with a deep recognition of the impacts on local communities and ecosystems. In her current role, Manjyot is responsible for driving and delivering the Hub's methane mitigation strategy and projects across high impact and large emitting sectors and geographies in Asia to deliver direct socio-economic benefits to countries and communities. Manjyot received her BA in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai; a MS in Sustainability from the School of Sustainability, Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from American University, Washington, DC.
