Maik Müller is head of the Martin Roth-Initiative, a protection and relocation program for artists at risk initiated by "Institute für Auslandsbeziehungen" (ifa) and "Goethe-Institut" funded by German Federal Foreign Office. Previous to his current role he worked for 10 years in different roles in the human rights sector, especially on the issue of protection and support for human rights defenders at risk. Maik holds a master's degree in Latin American regional studies as well as a post-graduate diploma in psycho-social intervention in situations of political violence and catastrophes. He is a certificated professional mediator and coach with a specialization in (organizational) conflicts, resilience and (organizational) development processes.
