Ji In (Magdalena) Seol is a strategist, founder, and professor in sustainable development. She has designed, led and managed groundbreaking initiatives in Africa, Asia and on a global scale as a global development practitioner and policy advisor. Her engagements include the largest solar energy project in Africa that connects 11 countries, the World Bank Group's Human Capital Project, and the establishment of the Global Green Growth Institute. After spearheading the globalization arm of a new economic growth agenda as an Assistant Secretary to the President of her country, she founded GDA, a strategy advisory consultancy dedicated to solving global development challenges. She teaches Sustainable Development at Yonsei University in Seoul. She holds an MPA in Business and Government Policy from Harvard Kennedy School with her first graduate work in International Development Studies at Oxford University as a Clarendon Scholar and a British Chevening Scholar after her B.A. in International Politics at Seoul National University.
