Maeum Han is an Army Major serving as a Public Affairs policy officer at the Republic of Korea Army Headquarters. With over 14 years of military service, Maeum's passion lies in Women, Peace, and Security and the anthropological approach to peacekeeping. She actively engages with diverse individuals, including NGO activists, scholars, and professors, through participation in various training sessions, workshops, and seminars. She aims to seek innovative solutions to address security challenges in a dynamic environment. Maeum's dedication to cultivating sustainable peace is driven by her unique combination of military expertise and an anthropological background. She graduated from the Korea Military Academy in 2009 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. Museum holds a master's degree in Anthropology of Education from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, where she was a scholarship recipient funded by the Ministry of National Defense. She is married and has two daughters.
