Ma. Erlinda is the Deputy Head of the MILF Peace Process Office and Joint Normalization Committee (JNC) Secretariat, where she plays a key role in coordinating, implementing, and monitoring programs aligned with the JNC's mandate. She is responsible for analyzing program implementation and ensuring the successful delivery of commitments outlined in signed peace agreements. Her work focuses on the sustained transformation of former combatants, their families, and communities, facilitating their full integration into local bodies and agencies. Since 2010, Ma. Erlinda has been deeply engaged in peacebuilding, leveraging her expertise in research, policy development, monitoring, evaluation, and peace advocacy within community settings. She is a trusted resource in providing technical, administrative, logistical, and operational support for the effective implementation of peace and development programs. Beyond peacebuilding, she is also a registered nurse in the Philippines, having earned her Master of Science in Nursing before transitioning into peace advocacy. Most recently, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Development from Cotabato State University. Ma. Erlinda is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
