Luvenia Kalia is a multidisciplinary artist with over two decades of experience in dance and performance. With movement as her primary art form, she has built an independent career as a choreographer, producer, and performer, contributing to both local and international art productions. Her recent works include bhumiMATA, SKIN, Cloudlines, and Pencak Mirage, the latter two incorporating extended reality (XR) and audio-visual elements into their performances. Luvenia is currently the arts and culture producer at Maitree House, an immersive storytelling company based in Australia and Asia. Beyond her artistic work, Luvenia is a movement facilitator with Arts-ED, a non-profit organization that leads community-based arts education programs for underprivileged youth. She holds a Diploma in Dance from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, with a concentration in Performance and Choreography, from Slippery Rock University, United States of America. She is also pursuing an international Master's program in Dance Knowledge, Practice, and Heritage (Choreomundus), which explores dance and movement systems as intangible cultural heritage.
