Luis García Conde worked as a journalist in Mexico. His areas of study are Violence against the press, journalistic professionalization in risk environments, and journalism for change and social justice. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Communication at the University of Miami, in Florida, United States. He has experience participating in different research projects related to journalism and the media. He is currently part of a study team working with migrants in the south of the state of Florida, in the United States.
