Logan Ward

Student, Emerson College, United States of America
Logan Ward is the candidate for a master's degree in Media Design from Emerson College. Logan is interested in conceptual illustrations (featured Op-Ed or on magazine covers), news writing, visual journalism, and research, since each of these find a different creative method for condensing information and delivering it to broad audiences. He holds a bachelor's degree in Illustration and in his free time he enjoys painting and drawing cartoons that he submits to The New Yorker for consideration. In-between degrees, Logan spent a year working as a Scenic Carpenter at Mystic Scenic Studios. He helped to build the studios of many News Broadcasting companies, but ultimately decided he wanted to be involved in creating the news. For Logan's master's thesis, he is directing, producing, and editing a documentary that advocates for autonomy for the trans community through community-centered approaches to medical research, academic research, and journalism.
