Litha is a project coordinator at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA). He graduated from the University of the Western Cape (UWC), where he obtained his BA and BA Hons in International Relations. During his time at UWC, he was a member of the UN Association of South Africa (UWC chapter). He is currently pursuing his MA in International Relations at the University of Cape Town. His research interests include geopolitics, mediation, China's economic diplomacy in Africa, and data governance in the SADC region. An interdisciplinarian, Litha has coordinated youth projects facilitated by SAIIA across East and Southern Africa, fostering collaboration and innovation among young leaders in the region. His work reflects a commitment to addressing complex global challenges through cross-sectoral approaches and capacity building.
