Lebohang Liepollo Pheko is an activist scholar, academic & movement builder who is currently a Senior Research Fellow at Trade Collective. She has taught postgraduate studies at Universities of South Africa, Harvard, MIT, Linkoping among others and her key interests are coloniality in international trade&international development, internationalism, multipolarity and the Africa region, Africa-EU relations, decolonial feminist theory & feminist economics, the political economy of global inequality, globalisation & gendered labour migration. All her work uses an intersectional approach to explore race, gender and class oppressions and is rooted in social movement struggles. Currently contributing to rethinking concepts of work, social reproduction and feminist, post capitalist solutions to covid economics as part of several feminist collectives across the Global South.
