Master's student in Peace and Conflict Studies
Le Sen is a Rotary Peace Fellow pursuing her master's in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University. She is a co-creator of the Global Peace Campaign, and a representative for minority women. She works with marginalized girls, women, and people of other gender identities to explore intersectional issues and create coalitions to advocate for change. She is the lead author of 'Making the Space: Voices from girls of Cambodian minority communitie's. Spending three years carrying out participatory research in Cambodia with minority groups, she fostered networks and advocated on minority issues at the local, national, and international levels. Le previously worked at Women Peace Makers as a gender and minorities specialist and a public affairs assistant at the U.S. embassy. She has challenged the status quo as a young minority female to work for equality and peaceful co-existence regardless of gender, identity, and social status.
