Kristen is the Head of Evaluation at Apolitical, where she oversees the design and delivery of evaluation and evidence-building practices across the organisation's global portfolio of programmes. Her work is instrumental in helping governments evaluate the effectiveness of capacity- and capability-building initiatives. Before joining Apolitical, Kristen was a Learning Design Manager at GetSmarter/2U, where she collaborated with seven of the world's top 10 universities to design and develop exec ed programmes. These included courses on diversity, equity, and inclusion with Northwestern University; AI with the University of Oxford; and health economics and policy with the LSE. Kristen holds a Master's degree from Stellenbosch University, where her thesis explored the role of an Afrikaans tabloid in shaping community identity in post-apartheid South Africa.
