Kris Rampersad is founder of Leaves of Life in Saint Augustine, and a global multilateral relations strategist. An award-winning journalist, policy influencer, and content innovator, Kris works at the intersection of intercultural understanding, gender equity, and sustainable development. She is developing CEIBA EDUtainment, which blends traditional knowledge and digital technologies, as well as AuthenTHINK Intel and AI AnalyEthics, tools designed to support ethical approaches to artificial intelligence. With extensive international experience in leading change, integrating diversity, and reshaping development across sectors, Kris brings expertise in new and conventional media, journalism, communications, information and communication technologies, cultural heritage, and education. She has spearheaded numerous local-toglobal initiatives empowering women, youth, and marginalized groups, including the Women Agents of Change initiative for the Commonwealth Caribbean, now adopted by the United Nations. Kris has served as president of the UNESCO Education Commission; vice president of the UNESCO Programme and External Relations Commission; vice president of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage; and vice president of the Commonwealth Journalists’ Association. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to journalism, gender equity, culture, and the literary arts.
