Kimberlee Cornett is the Director of Impact Investments at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where she makes investments that further the organization's mission of ensuring that all Americans have the opportunity to live the healthiest life possible. She leads a team that makes debt and equity investments and provides guarantees in transactions that support health and racial equity. Before joining RWJF, Kimberlee served as Managing Director of the Social Investment Practice at the Kresge Foundation where she was responsible for the Foundation's $350 million fund for impact investing. At Kresge, she architected of the Community Investment Guarantee Pool - the first multi-investor pool of credit enhancement for housing, climate, and small business. Before joining Kresge, Kimberlee was Vice President of Investment Management at Enterprise Community Investment where she structured tax equity for investment in affordable housing. She was appointed a White House Fellow by President Clinton and worked at the Small Business Administration on the availability of capital to women entrepreneurs. Kimberlee began her career at a shelter for homeless women and children in Washington, D.C. and subsequently, started a new affiliate of Habitat for Humanity in Virginia. Kimberlee serves on the Boards of The Conservation Fund and Habitat for Humanity International. She is a Commissioner on the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis, which oversees public housing in her hometown. Kimberlee is a graduate of Hood College.
