Kendall Hoyt is an Assistant Professor at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a Lecturer at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, where she teaches health systems, technological innovation, and biosecurity courses. She serves as Director of the Pandemic Security Project at Dartmouth College. From 2020-2021, she chaired the Harvard Medical School Medical Countermeasure Task Force, and from 2021-2023, she led the vaccine task force for the Covid Commission Planning Group. She has consulted for the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and the Nuclear Threat Initiative. Kendall Hoyt received her Ph.D. in the History and Social Study of Science and Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002 and was a Fellow in the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government from 2002-2004.
