My name is Kathrin Doppler and I am responsible for project management and education in the Salzburg Lungau Biosphere Reserve. Our educational work is carried out in close co-operation with our partner schools and kindergartens and our aim is to create awareness for our habitat - our biosphere. A biosphere reserve is always an important instrument for regional development, which is why I work closely with stakeholders from various sectors in the region (tourism, agriculture, nature conservation, etc.). I originally come from the tourism industry, as I attended the 'Innovation & Management in Tourism' degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. Moreover, my work also includes working in various (funding) projects, which are often linked to international exchange. I am therefore very much looking forward to getting to know you and exchanging ideas in connection with 'Salzburg Global'.
