Katerina Zafeiri has been working at the Athens Centre, a cultural and educational organization, as the coordinator of cultural affairs and educational development since 2016. She has lived and worked in Greece, Italy and The Netherlands. Her position includes being actively involved in working with American universities in developing studies abroad programs in Greece. Since 2015, she has been a scientific associate at the HORIZON Centre of Research, involved in the implementation of EU-funded programs. Previously, she has worked as assistant project manager and research associate for non-profit organizations in Athens and The Hague. She is a goal-oriented professional with an interest in implementing programs addressing social causes, including environmental sustainability, cultural exchange, innovation and learning development. Katerina holds an MSc in political science - global environmental governance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a BA in international and European studies from Athens Panteion University.
