Kate Herman is a Program Manager on Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Education team, where she leads their Healthcare CTE High Schools Initiative. The $270 million initiative pairs public education systems and hospitals in 12 communities across the United States to graduate students directly into high-demand healthcare jobs with family sustaining wages. Kate brings experience in leading innovative career-development and CTE programs for high school students and collaborating with ecosystems of cross-sector partner stakeholders. In her current role she works closely with leaders in healthcare and education across the country, as well as evaluation partners and other local stakeholders to support grantees in this first-of-its-kind initiative.
