Karin Pfeifenberger is the director, marketing and strategic business development at Salzburg Global, being in charge of all communication, sales and marketing activities of Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. She also helps to increase revenue generation by identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding Schloss Leopoldskron/Salzburg Global's brand presence and maintains business relationships with corporate customers, airlines, travel agencies, and reservation agents. She previously worked as sales and marketing manager for Hubert Burda Media (1999-2010), with responsibility for marketing and new creative ventures in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland; and in sales and marketing management positions for various international four and five star hotels. She holds a degree in tourism management from Tourism School Klessheim and an M.A. in communication science from Salzburg University.
