Kaitlyn Thomas is a sophomore at Louisiana State University pursuing a B.S. in Coastal Environmental Science and Minoring in Political Communications. She plans to attend law school post-graduation and work in environmental policy. As an undergraduate researcher, she is currently investigating the recreational ecosystem services offered by Louisiana and the factors that affect visitation. Her most recent accomplishment was being accepted as part of the 2025 National Wildlife Federation's Youth Advisory Council. She loves going on adventures with her dog and spending time outdoors.
