Justin Parks is associate professor at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway. Since completing his PhD at the University at Buffalo-SUNY, Justin has worked in Finland and Norway. His research and teaching are rooted in modern and contemporary poetry and American studies. His first monograph, titled "Poetry and the Limits of Modernity in Depression America", is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press in fall 2023. Justin's recent work engages with the energy humanities. He is currently researching the links between poetry and energy discourses in the twentieth century.
