Julie-Anne Hogbin is the Programme Director at Climate Strategies, where she leads initiatives that bridge the climate research policy interface, with a strong focus on advancing just and equitable transitions. Since joining the organization in 2019, she has played a pivotal role in shaping global dialogues on climate justice, including the development of the Just Transition Work Programme under the UNFCCC. Julie-Anne brings experience across the commercial, public, academic, and NGO sectors. Her previous roles include Programme Co-ordinator at the Environmental Defense Fund Europe, Centre Manager at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP) at the University of Surrey, and Centre Manager of the Global Sustainability Institute at Anglia Ruskin University. Julie-Anne holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and an M.A. in Sustainability. She is committed to integrating scientific evidence into policy and fostering inclusive, cross-sectoral approaches to climate action.
