Joshua is the Research Manager for the Future of Work Project at the Zizi Afrique Foundation. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and brings extensive expertise in agricultural productivity, youth employment, human capital, education, firm productivity, structural transformation, and sustainable cities. His work also covers poverty and inequality, financial and economic inclusion, micro-econometrics, and causal impact evaluation. Joshua specializes in rigorous experimental and quasi-experimental research, including resilience to shocks, vulnerability assessments, forced displacement, multidimensional and child poverty, and food security. Prior to his current role, he served as a senior analyst on poverty and inequality at Development Initiatives and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester.
