Jon is a former Police Officer, having served for more than 30 years in Staffordshire and latterly South Wales Police where he was Assistant Chief Constable. In December 2019, he became Director of the newly formed Wales Violence Prevention Unit. This organisation now has members from over 30 different public and third sector organisations, all striving to deliver the unit's mission of 'preventing all forms of violence in wales through applying a public health approach'.
